Staying hydrated helps support both physical output and mental sharpness when the game gets tough.
Athletes lose more than just water when they sweat. Sodium, potassium, magnesium, and other electrolytes are lost during exercise and need to be replaced to support hydration, muscle function, endurance, and recovery. Many athletes can lose between 500–1500 mg of sodium per hour depending on sweat rate, intensity, and heat.
